Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident when shopping with Luma Vale. Please review the policy below before requesting a return.

1. Return Window

Eligible non-custom items may be returned for store credit only within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date.

To be eligible, the return package must be handed to the carrier and receive its first acceptance scan within 30 days of delivery.

Returns sent after this window will not be accepted.

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, you may return an eligible item for store credit and place a new order.

2. Return Shipping

For approved eligible returns, Luma Vale provides one prepaid return label and return instructions.

Returns must be sent to our U.S. return address.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

3. Return Conditions

To be accepted, returned items must be:

  • Unworn and unused
  • Free of scratches, stretching, bending, heavy oxidation, or other signs of wear
  • Unaltered and not resized, repaired, or modified by a third party
  • Returned with the original packaging, pouch, accessories, and any included materials

Items that do not meet these standards will not be accepted.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom or personalized items
  • Any item marked Final Sale

Returns submitted after 30 days from delivery are not accepted, except for approved arrival-related issues reported within the claim window in Section 6.

5. What Is Not Considered a Defect

Because our jewelry is handmade and crafted in Miao silver, slight variations may naturally occur.

The following are not considered defects:

  • Slight variations in texture, pattern, tone, or measurement
  • Natural tarnish, light darkening, or mild oxidation that can occur with silver
  • Intentionally oxidized or darkened finishes used on vintage-style designs
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by moisture, perfume, chemicals, friction, bending, pulling, improper storage, or customer handling

6. Wrong Item, Damaged Item, or Manufacturing Defect

If you receive the wrong item, an item damaged on arrival, or an item with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Your claim must include clear photos of:

  • The item
  • The packaging
  • The shipping label
  • The issue you are reporting

If you believe an item arrived with abnormal discoloration or oxidation that is inconsistent with the product description or intended finish, please contact us within the same 14-day window.

Depending on the situation, we may offer one of the following after review:

  • A replacement
  • A partial refund or store credit
  • A full refund after the incorrect item is returned

Claims submitted after 14 days cannot be treated as arrival-related issues.

7. Store Credit and Refund Processing

Eligible standard returns are issued as store credit only.

Once your return is received and approved, store credit will be issued within 7–10 business days.

For approved wrong-item claims, confirmed manufacturing defects, or approved transit-loss cases, Luma Vale may issue a replacement or a refund to the original payment method, depending on the case.

8. Unauthorized or Ineligible Returns

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Items returned in ineligible condition may be sent back to the sender without store credit or refund.

Luma Vale reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet the requirements of this policy.

9. Late Returns

Returns outside the 30-day return window will not be accepted.

The only exception is a qualifying arrival-related issue that was reported within 14 days of delivery and approved by our team.

If your return request is approved, you will receive a prepaid return label and return instructions.
